Description of Supply Refractory Grade Calcined Bauxite Sintered Bauxite For Refractory Applications
Bauxite, also called alumina or bauxite, consists mainly of alumina and hydrated alumina containing impurities. It is an earthy mineral that appears white, gray, brown, yellow, or light red due to iron content. With a density of 3.9 to 4 g/cm3 and hardness of 1-3, bauxite is very brittle and difficult to melt. It is insoluble in water but soluble in sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solution. Bauxite is mainly used for aluminium and refractory materials. As a leading refractory grade calcined bauxite supplier, Rongsheng Refractory offers a variety of bauxite products including refractory grade bauxite, calcined bauxite aggregate, and bauxite powder at competitive prices.
3.Refractory: High alumina bauxite's refractoriness can reach 1780°C, characterized by good chemical stability and mechanical performance. (Al2O3 ≥48% with low Fe2O3)
4.Aluminium Silicate Refractory Fiber: High alumina bauxite grog can melt under 2000°C-2200°C in the electric arc furnace. After processing, it becomes aluminium silicate refractory fiber, which can be made into fiber blankets, plates, and cloths.
5.Steel Ladle Lining: Mixing magnesia and bauxite grog with binders improves the overall lining performance of molten steel ladles.
6.Producing Bauxite Cement: Used as a key ingredient.
7.Abrasives: Integral for manufacturing abrasive tools.
8.Ceramics Industry: Used in producing various ceramic products.
9.Chemical Industry: Utilized for creating various aluminium compounds.
