Product Description of Zirconia Core of Sizing Nozzle
The Zirconia nozzles are essential tundish refractory components in the continuous casting process, primarily used in billet casting to regulate the flow of molten steel. These nozzles must exhibit outstanding thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance to ensure a stable and uniform flow of molten steel into the mold. This stability is critical for maintaining the efficiency and consistency of the continuous casting process. Our zirconium sizing nozzle is made of stable zirconia and rare earth oxides, high pressure forming, high temperature solid phase.   1. Raw material selection: The first step is to select the raw materials for the zirconia nozzle. The type of raw materials will depend on the desired properties of the nozzle. The sizing nozzle is a functional device made of high-temperature structural eramics installed at the bottom of the continuous casting tundish.Its main function is to keep the static pressure of molten steel in the tundish basically unchanged.The molten steel flows into the mold through the sizing nozzle, and the mold is cooled by a large flow of water to take awaythe heat released during the crystallization process.The molten steel is solidified,and the molten steel is solidified into a billet.Due to the limited heat taken away by the water cooling of the mold,the amount of molten steel flowing into the mold per unit time must be within a certain range.The larger the diameter of the sizing nozzle is,the more molten steel flows into the mold per unit time.Select the appropriate aperture to make the tundish nozzle, that is, the sizing nozzle; it can also be used as the flow control function of other metal solutions.
