Description

Ferro Silicon Nitride is a mixture of Si3N4 as the main component, accompanied by free iron, non-nitride ferrosilicon and a small amount of other components. Ferrosilicon nitride is divided into two types according to its use: ferrosilicon nitride for refractory materials and ferrosilicon nitride for steelmaking. Ferro-silicon nitride for refractory materials is an off-white or dark brown powder, and ferro-silicon nitride for steel-making is an off-white granular material.

Ferrosilicon nitride is mainly used in the plugging mud of large blast furnaces, and a small amount is used in iron trench materials or other amorphous refractory materials; Granular ferrosilicon nitride is mainly used for oriented silicon steel or other steel grades that use nitrides to improve strength.
